Remembrance Day takes place this weekend and across our great county people will gather to pay their respects to those who gave their lives in service for their country. Here are a couple of events happening on November 11 in Manitoba:
Remembrance Day Services

Lest We Forget. All are welcome to attend the annual Winnipeg Remembrance Day Service, hosted by the Joint Veterans Association of Manitoba.

RCA Museum
Nov 11 | Building N-118, Patricia Road, CFB Shilo
Explore. Experience. Remember. To honour those who have served our country, The RCA Museum will be open with FREE admission from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Remembrance Day.

A Selkirk Settlers Celebration at WSO

Nov 11 | Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium, Brandon
Enjoy a night of Scottish Symphony: A Selkirk Settlers Celebration in Winnipeg or Brandon, also featuring Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1, the world premiere of Brandon’s own Sid Robinovitch’s Red River; and Joshua Weilerstein, assistant conductor of the New York Philharmonic, as guest conductor.
