Did you know that Manitoba is home to more than 100 species of dragonflies and damselflies? Learn more about these fascinating creatures at the Dragonfly Festival in Oak Hammock Marsh.
Equipped with a net, join a Dragonfly Safari where you can catch and identify many different species of dragonflies and damselflies. You can also try catching dragonfly nymphs from the waters of the marsh with a net and pail and see them magnified on a giant screen. Learn more about these beautiful insects from displays and presentations and make an edible dragonfly craft to take home.
This event will be a lot of fun for the whole family!
