Catch original, accessible and cheeky performances at North America’s second-largest Fringe Theatre Festival! This year, more than 160 companies from around the world will present comedy, drama, dance, improv, musicals and more while Old Market Square will come alive with non-stop entertainment on the outdoor stage.
Threshermen’s Reunion and Stampede

Take a trip back in time at the 59th annual Threshermen’s Reunion and Stampede at the Manitoba Agricultural Museum! In addition to the rodeo, the Reunion boasts a roster of family-friendly activities, including afternoon grandstand shows, a petting zoo, and more food booths than you can shake a stick at.
Gimli Film Festival
Jul 24 to 28 | Gimli, Manitoba
Catch great cinema on the beach at the 13th annual Gimli Film Festival! This year’s line-up presents a rich and diverse mix of documentaries, dramas and beach films. Plus, the FREE “cinema under the stars” beach screenings are a marquee event that shouldn’t be missed.

Spend an evening or afternoon at a Goldeyes game! This weekend, the Fish host the Les Aigles de Trois-Rivières from Friday to Monday. Stroll around the ballpark, eat some goodies, laugh with the crowd, and enjoy the overall atmosphere. Good times.

Amble your way to Altona to enjoy the 49th annual Sunflower Festival! “The Sunflower Capital of Canada” has a big blooming bunch of activities for everyone, including a giant parade, pancake breakfast, quilt show, petting zoo, farmer’s market, queen pageant, and street dance.
