Various art studios, The Interlake
Clay, glass, wood, paper, stone and paint are a few of the mediums used by the unique artists that make up the WAVE Interlake Artists’ Studio Tour! This weekend, highways 7, 8 or 9 lead to art studios from Meleb in the North to Oak Hammock Marsh in the South, with dozens of stops in between. Along the way you can observe nature in the Interlake, have a picnic in a park, or dine in one of the many cafes and restaurants. Watch for the blue flags!
Dance outside at Sound & Sky
Lyric Theatre, Assiniboine Park

This is one of Manitoba’s hottest tourism products where you can hunt for fossils on active dig sites in the Morden area. Home to Bruce, the 43-foot mosasaur (or marine reptile), the CFDC is unearthing a steady stream of fossils near Morden – an area that was once covered by a saltwater seaway in the Late Cretaceous Period.
