So much so that we have plenty of free events and attractions to show for it. So put your wallet away, for here’s a nice big list of stuff you can do when you need a budget-friendly day out. Because as the Queen — Queen Latifah that is — once said: “I don’t care how much money you have, free stuff is always a good thing.

Steep Rock Beach is a great free thing in the northern interlake with cliffs, a great beach, a restaurant in the summer, and tonnes of summer activities, especially around the holidays. There’s also a campground and a cabin rental.

Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame Museum in Morden has no admission —- it’s free.

Don’t forget the Morden Corn & Apple Festival. It’s Fun & It’s Free! And we’re celebrating our 50th. We invite you to come & enjoy August 26 – 28th.
